I sat beside The Freeman Executive Lifestyle Editor Marlinda Angbetic Tan and Philippine Star’s Honey Jarque Loop as we interview the new Cebu authors.
It was the launching of a life changing book titled “Rich Real Radical: 40 Lessons from a Magna cum Laude and a College Drop Out“.
University of San Jose – Recoletos Magna Cum Laude Hanz Florentino confides, “this book is about us and our learnings which brought us to where we are now.”
Surely, Jan Mack Hilado (the college drop-out) needs no introduction to me. To those who don’t know him, he was the first Treasurer of Cebu Bloggers Society, whom I am presently the president. As one of the observers, Jan is not your ordinary student. He is always on the go with ideas outside and beyond the box.
Internet Marketing Guru Jomar Hilario calls Jan as one of his successful students. Jan joined one of Mr. Hilario’s training when he was just 17, and then the rest is history.
He sopped his Nursing course with the blessing of his equally radical and liberal minded father, Tony.
Hanz, on the other hand, is your typical yet top-of-the-class graduate. Yet, he is one of those few corporate guys who has crazy dreams. “Inspire 10,000 lives before he reaches 30.” Though he had worked as one of the mid-managers of the corporate world, he was only able to reach hundreds.
THEN THE CHANGE
Hanz leaves his “secured” lifestyle and career and began hunting his dream. In one of the trainings held in Cebu, Jan and Hanz met and the rest is history.
Hanz is now one of the VP’s of a business incubation company in Cebu, while Jan has just been awarded as a member of the Millionaires Club of an multi-level marketing company.

Hanz and Jan with Philippine Star Columnist Honey Jarque Loop, The Freeman Executive Lifestyle Editor Marlinda Angbetic Tan, and yours truly.
WHAT’S THE TAKE
Investing less than Php 400 (or around 10 US Dollars) is one of the tuition that you should take in reaching success. I agree that the RICH REAL RADICAL book is worth all its content, not just that I know personally the gentlemen behind the book, but the fact that these book is an outline and blueprint of their success.
If Bo Sanchez said praises to this book, among other self-help book authors and mentors, who are we not to check this out.
I think one of the mistakes you will be making now, is after reading this is you wont even bother to check their website at http://www.richrealradical.com/ to check their book.
Opportunity comes to us in form of work. Most of the time we neglect to read one of the books that can enlighten us about success because we are too PRE-occupied with all other minute things.
Personally, this book is one of those few books worth reading. Maybe, your epifany to wealth starts when you read this book.

I’m a fan of Jan Mack Hilado because of Business. I want to learn about Business since I love to have my own business that’s why I’m reading sometimes the blog of Jan.
I definitely love books like this that challenges you to come out of your shell and really do something.
I’ll definitely try to look for this in Fully Booked.
I even believe that teens should start reading books like these too–a bit of a heavy read for their age but it could help them in the long run… and I think parents should play a big role on that.
sound like a great book – it will be a succes!

I agree that success isn’t on the degree of a person through school or any university. it’s all about taking the opportunity and making it work . But success cant also be measured by the financial aspect as well . It has to be shared to other and help them to lift their lives as well . thank you for sharing this .
